Deleting your Step Swap account

Step Swap (com.stepswap.app) lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

In the app (recommended)

Open Step Swap and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.

By request

If you can't access the app, email info@vaet.sk from the address associated with your account and we will delete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and removes:

Your profile (name, avatar, shoe sizes, style, postal address and phone number).
Your matches, chat sessions and messages.
Your exchanges and any generated shipping labels.
Your authentication record (the Google sign-in link).

What may be retained

We may retain limited records required for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, shipping/transaction records held by our carrier or payment partners) for as long as the law requires. These are not used to re-identify you within Step Swap.
